L.A. Works Volunteers assisted with memorial activities throughout the city on and in preparation of the September 11th memorial event. SEPTEMBER 8th - 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Volunteers helped decorate the Memorial Wall with all of the September 11th remembrances donated by the citizens of Los Angeles.

Volunteers lit and held candles and handed out 1,000 carnation flowers representing the 78 Los Angeles citizens who perished on 9-11-01
