L.A. Works Day Kickoff - April 17

L.A. Works Day will be on June 5th, but here's the perfect opportunity to get all your questions answered about L.A.'s most exciting day of community service. Join the L.A. Works staff and the Chairs of the planning committees for a "kick-off" informational session at downtown's California Plaza.

Find out how you can organize a team of volunteers; get a sneak preview of the L.A. Works Day projects; or join one of our planning committees and get involved in the production of this great event.

All are invited! Even if you don't want to get involved in L.A. Works Day, this is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with your fellow L.A. Works volunteers and the L.A. Works staff, and find out how you can make a difference in the broader social issues facing our community.

Free food & refreshments and validated parking provided.

Who Are You?

Signing up at laworks.com is quick and easy. However, we'd love to know more about you. Here's why!

We can search our database to find your special interests, skills, or volunteer profile. This way when we have special projects or opportunities that might interest you, we'll be able to call it to your attention! A few weeks ago, we had a casting opportunity for a male volunteer, aged 25-36, for a commercial promoting volunteerism. To find the right people we search our database.

It's easy to tell us more about yourself! Just click on the Personal Information tab in the Member Center, and click through the various links to tell us your demographic info, interests, skills, and more. You'll also be able to view your volunteer and gift history. The more you share with us, the more we can do for you! Click here to get started today!

Project Leader Training is Back!

Our monthly project leader training will resume on April 10th at the L.A. Works office. Take the next step in volunteering and become one of our project leaders! Click here for more information and to sign up!
