Project Leader of the Month

This month L.A. Works would like to recognize a long-term Project Leader -- Henry J. Meyer

Henry has been leading projects at the Los Angeles Mission for what seems like years now! Like many project leaders, he's found a project he enjoys doing, and has pretty much adopted it as his own.

Each month Henry dutifully emails us and says he is willing to lead any or all the projects at the L.A. Mission. He is willing to share his project with any other leaders who wish to lead it, but steps right up to ensure that no project at the Mission needs ever be cancelled!

Henry's Views on volunteering:
"L.A. Works offers us the opportunity and ability to be of volunteer service to the community.

I am personally motivated to volunteer at the Los Angeles Mission, thereby supporting the temporary less fortunate on their way to a productive and rewarding future in our society.

I consider it a privilege to work with LA Works and it's many volunteer opportunities."
