L.A. Works lent a hand to all ages on July 15, 2000
as over 650 volunteers revitalized community service
agencies in the neighborhoods of Venice and Santa Monica.
Volunteers painted, planted, created vibrant new murals
and brightened facilities for eleven important community
service agencies and schools: American Red Cross,
Venice Family Clinic, People Assisting the Homeless,
Westside Food Bank, WISE Senior Services, PICSI, The
Growing Place, St. Joseph Center, Mark Twain Middle
School, and DST Head Start centers at Vernon
and Woods.
Thanks to our many sponsors and supporters who made
the event possible.
Here's a few pictures commemorating the day: |
