The Day Begins and
Ends at STAPLES Center
Central Site
 
Executive Director Eric Roth addresses the
crowd of 1200 volunteers as they prepare to board busses for
today's twelve projects.
Project Sites
 
Volunteers begin painting colorful murals at four elementary
schools in the downtown area.

Volunteers add flowers to the hallways at Orthopaedic Hospital

Some volunteers paint themselves as well :-)
 
Volunteers brave the morning showers and begin
planting colorful gardens.


At Patriotic Hall a large group of volunteers
poses for a group picture after
painting the gymnasium used by Disabled Vets.

After The Works
Ends - It's Back to Staples Center to Celebrate!

Louise's Trattoria serves delicious salad,
pasta and more to 1200 hungry volunteers!

Commitment to Community Awards are presenting
to Endeavor Partner, David Lonner
and Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo

The Flying Karamazov Brothers perform their
new original song about L.A. Works
for the delighted (and soggy) volunteers who brave the rain.


The day ends with an impomptu jam session
of sizzlin' rockin' blues
